    King should be in everyone's team for last 4 weeks imo
    Been a sensational signing for me but nobody around me has him yet ???

    Ya not getting him in for GW28 was one of my worst decisions this season. Probably time to rectify that!

    Yeah it's crazy, I have Redmond stinking up my team since GW30 when I WC with DGW.. should of just got King

    Getting Redmond was good planning though considering Southampton's two dgwks. But good planning seems to count for nothing this season.

    Redmond has 4 goals and an assist all season. Merely having double gameweek players doesn't represent good planning, especially when you do it early and are then stuck with that player in the meantime rather than accumulating points from the higher scoring players who have no DGW.

    Good point. I was guilty of this myself getting the likes of Stanislas in specifically for GW28 and then being stuck with him. Hopefully I'll remember this lesson next season!

    I can't give a logical reason as to why I still don't have king.
    Even this week it was very close with him and firmino and I chose to bring in firmino.
    When king's name came up on scoresheet after 2 mins I was very relieved that 88 mins passed, 70 mins of those v 10 man, and Bournemouth added 3 more goals and he wasn't involved.

    And I still don't plan to get him next week as Zaha had a nice fixture but that may change based on how players perform.

    It's a hard strategy to put any kind of solid rule on. I mean strictly speaking there is no reason why the player with the DGW can't hit form too. This season has been one with a rapidly changing dynamic and from what I've seen most people's frustrations primarily source from not being able to keep up with that etc.

    I haven't had king and well done to all that had . I've held off because what he is doing I didn't think was sustainable. He is basically at messi and ronaldo levels of goalscoring consistency the past 12 weeks. I more than likely won't be getting him now for the same reasons and obviously influenced by the dgws aswell.

    I thought the same about Vardez last season. Had to eventually swallow my pride =/

    It can be frustrating trying to predict if you're going to have a Michu or a Capoue!

    100%.

    I keep saying it, but once you reduce DGW planning to a numbers game, a headcount if how many doublers you can get, then you're probably gonna crash and burn.

    My mistake was (a) not getting King for the BGW and (b) writing him off thereafter due to those dreadful fixtures. He's in my WC now and staying.

    Is 12 weeks not proof enough now though that it is sustainable or how long should we give a player before finally giving in? I think I will get him anyway, he has the form, fixtures, explosive potential and penalties. It was a long 88 minutes as a non owner yesterday after he scored.

    I think Bournemouth have the pressure off and are playing good football attacking wise. He's OOP playing as a striker, may still have pens. He could have scored 15pts yesterday.

    I don't think I can ignore him any longer.

    Rooney starting
    Wont be many goals in this game ......

    I've had King since GW28 and he's been brillant for me but I can understand why people haven't brought him in yet if they didn't have him that week.
    He had 3 horrible fixtures followed by a week where the likes of Zaha had a double.

    I can't see any reason why anyone would continue to go without him from here though.

    Totally agree. Anyone asking "How many DGW players do you have" are going the wrong way

    Those without a wildcard and facing into dgws.

    Though King with Burnley at home in 37 could be a much better punt than any DGWer considering his form and the DGW lottery selection ;).

    On the King topic not having him is probably better than having him, and him sitting as first sub, for last 4 GW's.

    He could well be but there are only 5 midfield spots I currently have sanchez alli eriksen Pedro siggy. They are listed in order of importance IMO. Siggy is going more than likely for ozil and Pedro may go for either hazard or sane. I just don't see myself bringing in king now. I'm defo playing 352 in 37.

    Considering a punt on the ox with a couple of dgws coming up. Currently looking at a -8 of
    Lukaku-> kane
    Son-> ox
    Negredo-> gabbi
    Not pulling the trigger yet tho am I mad?

    Ox left the ground on crutches according to my Twitter Feed.

    That is probably a great idea actually. Why wasn't that in my plans for the last while? Good shout!!!

    Sanchez Alli Eriksen Hazard Ozil? Can you afford such a midfield? Will you go very cheap upfront?

    Ye I've currently got lukaku benteke and negredo. I don't plan to get Kane . I'll be on gabbadini lukaku Barnes or gabbadini giroud benteke.

    What are people's thoughts on Everton, and specifically Lukaku??

    The West Ham game looked like they have at least one foot in a sandal on the beach :confused:

    Was wondering the same myself, they are guaranteed EL football next season from what I can tell so not much left to play for

    Top 6 have CL/EL - Arsenal will push Everton to 7th, if they win games in hand.

    They may get Utds EL spot if Utd win the EL and qualify for CL that way.

    No, Everton guaranteed EL with a 7th place finish.

    5th place is an automatic spot, with the two other spots going to the FA Cup winners and the EFL Cup winners. As the FA Cup winners (Chelsea/Arsenal) and EFL cup winners (Man U) will qualify through their league positions, 6th and 7th in the League will get the two remaining spots.

    Man U winning the EL will NOT increase the number of spots available. If they finish outside the Top 4, they will qualify for the CL and only 2 teams will be in the EL.

    Rotation with Rashers and Rooney would put me off him right now.
