This show is just good old fashioned harmless entertainment. Enjoyable episode again!

    Must buy Ford.
    Must buy Ford.

I would like to see Kimball demolish more idiots with "I have the evidence".

Next week, Kirkman goes into Bauer mode and takes a tac team to rescue Hannah.

Haven't seen today's one yet. Was a bit bored with last week's, seemed like nothing progressed.

There aren't subtle when it comes to product placement on US tv series these days.

I'm watching it now and even for US TV that was the most blatant bit of PP I've seen yet.. all that was missing was a voice-over "and now a word from our sponsor" It would have been better than pausing the entire show for 30 seconds for an ad!

    Ford :p wtf!

thought the car might explode before they got into it because she had started motor remotely.... but no, just two lingering shots of the fancy app on her phone ... only 184 miles left in tank! Oh very useful, must have:rolleyes:

Only thing I take away from that episode is that I need a ford

Lol the Ford thing was just out of the blue.....well anyway im off to buy a new Mondeo.

Has this being renewed for a second season yet ?

    Isn't it amazing how
a horde of right wing nutters armed to teeth with hunting rifles couldn't bring bring down Atwood and Hannah in the woods?
Still good escapist stuff last thing before bed. :D

My thoughts exactly. Keeps me amused for 45 mins or so on a Thursday night before I turn in.

Seriously though.. it's COMPLETELY out of place!

Plus with the time they stand there waiting for the car to start while she plays with the app, you'dhave walked over and be on your way already

I wouldn't normally be bothered by this stuff, people have to use cars so it's not unusual to see a branded car; but how blatant it was kinda took me out of the episode

I used to think Alias was blatant with its "The F150!" placement, but this makes that look positively subtle :D

That Ford thing was unbelievable, could not have been more blatant, as already said worst i have ever seen. I know the way people are watching TV these days traditional advertising is nowhere near as effective as it used to be, but if this is going to become the norm, then

anyhow not looking good for Wells!

Good episode... the way the last 2 minutes went down, the only thing missing from the very end was something like:

    22:57
    22:58
    22:59
    23:00

Product placement was unreal too. :)

Haven't watched this show since the break. The sheer neck of that is tempting me to start again.

You should. The show is good fun for a conspiracy thriller.

I liked the show at the beginning, even just for a bit of a laugh but it did have a plot and there was a moving story. The last two episodes have me all riled up as it's gone a bit NCIS'ish or something.

And yeah the Ford thing was ridiculous.

I like the show more and more. I didn't think they could take it beyond 10 episodes starting out given the premise but it's turning into a solid watch.

Lethal Weapin did a bug Ford ad earlier this year with Murtagh junior looking to buy a car and pointing out neat features of a small SUV. It was jarring in LW but the ad made less sense here. It didn't seem as long though stitched into the episode but it would have only been worth Agent Wells' while starting the car from the app if it had a 'come to me' function like high end German brands and a Tesla. Remote start is stupid in the context they showed.

Not sure I get the point of that death.

White house crisis of the week "The Arts" wasn't very good.

This kind of shows what a mess the behind the scenes must be like.

Keith Eisner (The good wife) has signed on to be the shows 4th showrunner in anticipation of it being renewed.

Just watched the latest edition, it was a bit 'really?!!' Is the writing beginning to unravel a bit? Computers in the woods...hide and all with hardly a bit of vegetation cover? And who goes sleuthing in high heels and a too tight blouse?

Atwood appears not to have been wearing a bullet proof vest either, and just how do all these secret agent types get crept up on so easily. Did he send a message from his computer before he left his hiding spot?

A poor episode to be sure.

Considering how far apart the two bullet holes were, he was wise not to go for the head!

Edit - my daughter, who has lived in the US, said - 'if there is a deer there will be a gunman! See! They don't watch enough American tv!'

Yeah, but at least Jason was recording .wav files...

Best line was Kirkman was arguing with the senator bloke and said something like 'this isn't a backroom, it's the Oval Office'.

Looks like Windows 8/8.1 .. guess they decided not to take the "free upgrade" to 10 :p

Wasn't she on her way back to her digs after going out to talk to yer man at his ranch? And pegging it because it had been broken into? Computer in the woods i can buy, satellite connection perhaps? The hiding on the other hand.....

Yes, but she has been wearing pretty much that outfit all along! And I have no problem with a satellite connection in the woods, but a high speed connection, and lying practically in the open with all that stuff, all those little lights shining brightly :D ?

Not to mention the cosy picnic blanket he was laying on. I was expecting a walk-in wardrobe and bathtub to follow. My Mrs also laughed at how clean & perfect hair she was in that container.
Unfortunately it's lost its mojo in my opinion. The quirkiness has gone in favour of attempted conspiracy/big drama. Next week or two will determine whether I drop out.
