Anyone have any experience with Silestone? Or had any problems with it.
Also, one kitchen company told me that if I go with a pure white quartz worktop that it could stain easily. Best to go with a pattern in it.
I would like something as plain as possible. Has anyone had any good/bad experience with a plain white countertop.

I have a pure white silestone top. It is very beautiful and it looks really nice, it is seven years old now so we have had it a while.

    Does it stain ?
    Yes

Can you leave things on your countertop ?
Not for any length of time.

    Does it stain easily ?
Yes and needs to be cleaned immediately.

    Does it look amazing ?
Yes everyone who sees it comments.

Would we get a white counter top again ?
Probably not as it does require a lot of work and kitchen Always needs to be kept tidy to avoid stains, it is a good bit of work.

We got the kitchen from Poggenpohl. It is a high gloss white kitchen from their segmento range. The kitchen was probably our most expensive purchase for our home but we spend a lot of time there so for us it was worth it.

All the doors and drawers are a lacquer finish so no joins at the edges of doors etc.

The drawers are all electric so you just touch them to open ( a nice idea but the motors need replacing after about 5 years, would not get them again)

After seeing about 20 designs we were not happy with I ended up designing the kitchen myself (I have an interior design background)

Your kitchen is beautiful. I'm sorry that this is off topic but may I ask if you're happy with your neff ovens? And do you have the microwave combi on top? It's just what I'm looking for
