    Hi,

I have some HG 1/2" polythene pipe in the garden. I also have a garage done out in qualpex. I need to connect the qualpex into the polythene at a T-piece.

Is there a certain connection for this or how do I do it?

1/2" HG fits into a 3/4" brass connection.

So, if the 1/2" is going into the center of the T you need a 3/4" X 3/4" X 1/2" TEE
( center connection is always the last size)
HG doesn't need inserts, qualplex does.

Thanks for that. I have 1/2" in both so would I be right in saying....

    1/2" x 1/2" x 1/2" T in the poly, with a brass 3/4"to 1/2" adapter coming out of the middle T?

    1/2 X 1/2 X 3/4 then if they stock it. (3/4 center)

Or a 3/4 equal T with two reducing sets, it would be neater than two fittings, but anything will work.
