Hi lads. Planting or intend to plant grass on area with steep slope. Too steep to use mower. Is there a species of grass I can use, that will only grow to certain height and never require mowing?

The guy who invents that grass will get rich!

Chewings fescue or creeping red fescue will only need mowing few times a year.

Good on a bank but other grasses will get in eventually.

Not a normal grass, but some of the ornamental clump forming grasses will only grow to a certain height.

As mentioned earlier wild grass will invade over time and need regular maintenance.

Maybe think of ground cover plants to blanket the area.
