    An Irish based meet up site has been established to facilitate fans of U2 (and similar bands) who are living in Ireland and who might be interested in meeting up with other fans to discuss the band, go to tribute gigs, and maybe find others to attend U2 gigs with. This is NOT a commercial site: membership is free and the site will not be used for any kind of commercial activities, including ticket sales/swops or exchanges - there's already a multitude of sites out there for that. Nor will it be used to post gazillions of video or audio clips of U2 etc. - we already have Facebook for that.

    U2 Fans Ireland has been established solely to facilitate face to face meetups of fans, solely to share our enjoyment of the music of U2, and also other bands which U2 fans are likely to be into such as Coldplay, Springsteen, Snow Patrol etc. If you're interested, check us out at:
