I figured this would be the best place to ask about this. I'm starting college in NUIG in September and I've been looking around at digs. Found this particular spot that was recommended to me by a friend. I've had a look at the place, spoken with the owner, and it seems pretty good.

I'm not sure how much digs are supposed to cost and I can't find much info about it online.

Is 125 euro a week reasonable for digs in the Newcastle area? I'd have my own single room with a basic enough breakfast and dinner included. It's about a ten minute walk from the college.

    Any and all advice appreciated

sounds fair to me . lot of people are now paying 100 for room only in galway so if ya look at it that way your getting breakfast and dinner for the week for 25 euro .
