Off to tesco tomorrow! They have 3 stages in reductions. Early, then midday then 6 pm when they all but give it away... If you happen there after 6 .. I never manage it.

Coffee and toast on its way, best of a bad lot in hospital. I need a protein hit in the mornings. Looks like there'll have to be supplies brought from home..
A fried egg and sausage roll would go down mighty now..
I did find last night's ham and tomato sandwich, bit soggy but flipping gorgeous at 5:30am.

    In the frozen section
    Mince for a spag bolognese

    And in the fridge
Chicken fillet for a curry or stir fry

Day off so I'll be over indulgin' without second thought like the butcher intended

I'm eating my son's :D hoping he doesn't notice. Reminds me of a meme I saw on Facebook

"I'm helping my son look for his Easter egg I ate last night..." :D

We were asked not to buy eggs for the grandchildren and spent ages buying alternate Easter gifts. Sunday arrives and the kids, plus their parents, give me a dozen eggs, fudge and jellies. Oh well, I've lived a good life so I can take the hit for them all. ;)

I've just tubbed off a Chinese takeaway style chicken curry with lots of onion - straight from the wok. Im using the Goldfish brand paste as usual. Reheats perfectly. Some rice with it later after dreaded paperwork.

I've gone full Gordon Ramsay today! Chopped up a hot dog, fried that in butter and scrambled an egg on top.

    YUM?

Not really. But it beats the mouldy bread I've just had to chuck in the bin.
