    Which of the all Irelands?

From the last one: Shane Walsh, Tom Flynn, Fintain O Currain, Liam Silke, Damien Comer. There are a few others in and around the team.

The first 15 mins was sublime but they missed enough in that game to win 4 matches. Closed ths game out well which is a good sign.
Cooke would be a great option as an impact full forward. Having Comer and Armstrong/Cummins/Meehan playing off a big man like that they could cause havoc.
Hes limited defensively but could be a good 3rd midfielder also, while offering an option on frees.
Full back was very good apart for getting caught under dropping ball for the goal.
At least 4 good options off that team to bring into senior set up.

Yeah, I meant the team that beat Cavan in Croke park.

Based on the two games today they'd have to be strong favourites.

Dublin and Donegal was nearly as bad as Junior C game at times.

If I'm not know mistaken if Galway win the final that would be 4 provincials that lead to 4 AIs in row.

Definitely three, I'm just not 100% if we had a famine from 2005 to 2011 provincially.

That was the other under 21 final.

Cathal Sweeney, Michael Farragher and Danny Cummins from that team that I can think of. A few lads were on both teams.

Massive performance from Galway today. The intensity Galway brought to the opening 10-15 minutes in particular was unbelievable. We pinned Kerry in their own half and they just couldn't find a way out. We really should have had the game buried by half time with all the chances we had but it was a strong show of resilience by Galway in the 2nd half when Kerry got it back to 3. Given the effort Galway had put into the first half I expected us to fade but full credit to the lads.

I'm nearly pleased it's Dublin in the final. Galway hopefully go in as underdogs but after beating such a highly fancied Kerry team, they've every right to believe in themselves going into the final.

Ant predictions for the hurling tomorrow.?
Should be a stroll in the park for Galway, setting up a final with Tipp and a 'dress rehearsal' of the A.I. final in September.

    Thanks for your opinion.

best 2 teams in the country last year and probably again this year. Kilkenny have slipped back a bit, Waterford are static.
IMO Galway would have beaten Tipp last year and Kilkenny in the final but for Canning's injury in the semi.

Good win in a poor game v limerick. Thought the backs were tough and defended well. Some poor wides from the forwards but a decent result all the same. A league final regardless of result will stand to this team come championship.

Coen should have got the line for his wild swing. He's been very lucky on a few occasions now. Should have walked against Kk two years ago and again today. Someday that will run out. I just hope it's not on more important days than today.

They have alot of work to do to come up to the pace of the second game.

Very comfortable victory. Unspectacular performance but Limerick were desperate. Never at any stage felt we were in any real trouble. Limerick did cause us a few problems in the full back line early on but we tightened up as the match progressed.

Nothing to lose playing Tipperary really. Will be a quality game under our belt and a good benchmark heading in to the championship.

Cathal Mannion is having an excellent season and it's great to see. Thought Whelan, bar that embarrassing moment in the second half where he ran the wrong way, kept his form from the Waterford game. Conor Cooney looked lively too and killed the game with his goal. Joe Cooney is absolutely droppable at the moment and just doesn't look anywhere near as sharp as he was in 2016.

Defensively we were absolutely roasted at fullback. We had so many rotating fullbacks so it looks like when Hanbury is poor we've no real plan B. I thought Killeen was very good when he replaced him however. That said we improved late on in the game when Harte, Mannion, Tuohy started to win everything.

They've bounced back well from that Wexford defeat in fairness and you can't ask for better championship prep than playing Tipp. Not having to drive to Thurles is a big bonus too.

Between that and the U-21's yesterday it's been a very good weekend.

Ya, it's been a good year so far for the GAA in Galway - hurlers in the league final, footballers back in division one and looking like they will be competitive until August at least, U21 footballers looking like there are a few real talents there for the future.

I think Galway will win the hurling AI this year, regardless of the result next Sunday. Feel we have the players. Plenty of work to do and need our Bunch of Burkes to step up to the plate, but there's a depth to the squad that we haven't had in years.

To be fair to Joe, he is 50 odd :D

And no offense to the chap, but I spotted him in Supervalu in Loughrea recently and he definitely isn't match fit.

But he could still do a decent job against a team like Limerick..:D

If Padraic maher isn't given a marker after the shoulder on joe canning in last years semifinal in the league final this weekend it's all for nothing.
If they want to be seen as a team it's one for all or go home imo.

You mean the perfectly legitimate, perfectly timed shoulder to shoulder challenge?? Why would anyone need to put down a 'marker' after that?

    Indeed more interestingly who exactly?

No sorry now, but you said you wanted a named player to be given a 'marker' for a perfect shoulder that happened 7 months ago.
