how much concrete?

    hi lads....... what is the formula for measuring up for concrete?

    eg. i have a trench 50 meters in length,its 100mm in depth and it is 450 cm wide.

    how many meters( this is how its messured yeah?) of concrete do i need and is there a simple formula for messuring it up for future reference? thank you for any help.

    to get a measure of your job you multiply 50 × .45 × .1 and that gets you 2.25 metres for a 100 mm depth of concrete , if it was 125 mm depth of concrete you multiply 50 × .45 × .125

    Use 50 x .1 x .450(assuming u meant 450 mm if not use 4.5 if cm was right) this will give u total cubic needed this would be reduced if u are putting steel n d concrete so giving u 2.25 m3

    Convert everything to metres, and multiply the length X width X depth.
    50x.450x.100=2.25 cubic metres.

    About 23 metres of concrete , to get a measure of your job you multiply 50 × .45 and that gets you 22.5 metres for a 100 mm depth of concrete , if it was 125 mm depth of concrete you multiply 50 × .45 × 125

    This is incorrect, it's only 100mm deep, that .100
