Booker T ? Ah FFS why ? Just leave it as a two man announce team while otunga is off doing his filum.

    I love booker on commentary

Would love to have seen JR back in there, even just for a couple of weeks.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,929 ✭✭✭kopite386

Serioulsy ? Why not just leave it at 2 - Booker T is really annoying I'd rather Otunga (I know he's off making a movie, I mean in general) than Booker T

    Raw_rendered--ec68e1bc84425572999a0fb774ea7165.png

After his destruction of Roman Reigns last week, to the delight of pretty much everyone, who else dares into the warpath of "The Monster Among Men" Braun Strowman.

    Is Braun Strowman unstoppable?
As if savagely and repeatedly mauling Roman Reigns on Raw wasn't enough, Braun Strowman put a punctuation mark on the unimaginable punishment by using his near-superhuman strength to tip over an ambulance as The Big Dog was strapped to a gurney inside it.

While Reigns recovers from multiple injuries, Raw General Manager Kurt Angle still has a monster on his hands. Can Strowman's ferocity be contained?

PLEASE WWE, DO NOT MAKE HIM REIGNS' BITCH..

Has Elias Samson drifted to Raw?
After wandering his way through the crowd in Long Island's Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum this past Monday night, NXT's Elias Samson wound up on the entrance ramp as Raw Tag Team Champions The Hardy Boyz entered the ring for the night's Eight-Man Tag Team Match. The mysterious musician left soon after, leaving many to wonder why The Drifter had, well, drifted to Raw.

Following that unusual appearance, it's clear that Samson has some interest in Team Red. Keep your eyes peeled for The Drifter tonight as Raw emanates from Columbus, Ohio.

Is Nia Jax in line for a Raw Women's Title opportunity?
There were some major shifts in the Raw Womens' division this past Monday night as Alexa Bliss and Mickie James joined the Team Red roster, but it was Nia Jax who ruled the night, first defeating former Raw Women's Champion Charlotte Flair and then laying waste to another former champion, Sasha Banks, and its current bearer, Bayley.

As the fan-favorite titleholder writhed in agony on the mat following a ring-shaking Samoan drop, Jax proclaimed, This championship is mine, Bayley! Will that statement become a reality sooner than later?

Which Raw newcomers will shake up Team Red the most?
The Superstar Shake-up brought a varied assortment of SmackDown LIVE Superstars to Raw, including Intercontinental Champion Dean Ambrose, The Miz, Bray Wyatt, Alexa Bliss, Mickie James, Curt Hawkins, Apollo Crews, Kalisto and the team of Heath Slater & Rhyno.

This sudden influx of new competitors has created exciting new possibilities for Team Red as former SmackDown LIVE Superstars aim to make their mark on Monday night. Who will dominate this week?

Will Seth Rollins and Samoa Joe settle their unfinished business?
Moments after Raw General Manager Kurt Angle affirmed that Seth Rollins is on Raw to stay, Samoa Joe ambushed The Kingslayer to finish the job he started on Rollins' knee several weeks ago. However, Rollins was ready, nailing The Destroyer with two swift kicks that sent Joe into retreat.

Clearly, we haven't seen the last collision between these heated rivals, and if they cross paths tonight, fists and feet will fly.

Booker T on commentary so I will mute it too.
Is Orton going to be there since he & Wyatt are the title match at Payback?
Owens too is on Smackdown until he takes on Jericho.
Still it ain't all bad no New Day :)

I'm trying to think who I'm looking forward to tonight
I think if anything interesting happens it will just be the Hardy Boyz & Seamus & Cesaro and Sasha Banks in the women
In singles matches it's Seth Rollins that's it
I like Dean Ambrose but any match he has won't be too interesting I only have a feeling it will be against The Miz

    Rollins/Samoa Joe
    confirmed for Payback.

And I'm gonna skip RAW.. Fast forward job FTW.

So take it since it's not being defended at Payback that they've decided to write off the Universal Title for now and the 30 day rule is out the window again

Is KO not getting a rematch?

    Poor golden truth

Why didn't Braun attack gallows and Anderson ??

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,108 ✭✭✭johnnysmack

Why are they putting ambrose and miz in the same segments? They both came from smackdown and have been working with each other for ages.

Surely the whole point of the shake up is create new feuds and get different people working together.

A speedy recovery from last week's concussion from Finn. Great to see

Enjoyed the womens 4-way. Although I winced more than once at the way Nia dropped her opponent.

Show v Strowman was very enjoyable to be fair

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,963 ✭✭✭IncognitoMan

I could see that spot coming a mile away but loved it all the same. Very good match

  • Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 42,949 Mod ✭✭✭✭Lord TSC

Someone on /r/SquaredCircle leaked the entire card hours before the show last night. Got every match and segment spot on :pac:

Enjoyed the women's match, and Brawn. Thats it. Thats all that kept my attention for longer than 30 seconds.

    So much mundane, boring crap...

As mentioned, Miz/Ambrose negates the entire point of the shake up. Hardyz/Cesaro/Sheamus is neutered by the fact the audience want a gimmick that WWE won't/can't use. Rollins/Joe having a chat was dull. Just overall, really not feeling Raw at all :(

I like alot of the smaller things they did.

I like the change to some alliances in the cruiserweights. Neville, as always is great and its good to see the storyline move on to include other cruisers. A lot of the time its too easy to just have a match.

Good to see Finn already after last week.

Looks like Crews may get some sort of storyline, a spot for a fun team is open with New Day gone. Himeself and Akira could fill it.

Glad Alexa won the ladies bout. Good change with a new opponent on RAW for the champ.

Cesaro v Jeff is tremendous to see in 2017. Amazing to see Jeff in WWE after his troubles.

Club beating Enzo is always a big thumbs up from me.

US Title no.1 contender match: Styles vs Zayn vs Corbin
WWE Title no.1 contender match: Zayn vs Ziggler vs Harper vs Rawley vs Rowan vs Mahal

    Yeah, this all makes sense.

We need a mod here. We have people trying to use logic in a WWE thread! :pac:

Seth being on commentary reminds me why the table being where it is is a problem. If someone wants to interfere they have to walk down to the ring.

Liked Corey's wee hand motion when Cole said Otunga was replacing Byron. As if to say not sure how he feels about it.

Strange when they had Rhyno act the way he did to Strowman considering he's a guy that people would've reacted like that to. The Man beast.

Looked like Finn was out there in a protected capacity. He didn't take any kind of bump.

I know we had the shakeup last week, but having open challenges issued twice in one night is strange. It was grand for the surprise Balor appearance when people thought he was out, but why Enzo/Cass for the Club. That would've been the time to introduce Heath/Rhyno

I'll be honest, I thought it was a very good Raw.

Good segment with Braun and Kurt. Good backstage stuff. Good match between Jeff and Cesaro. Alexa went over which I LOVED after a decent women's match. (and the crowd did too). Finn had a squash which was fine, and the main event was great.

Thought Miz promo was excellent, and actually have me interest in a match and feud which has been done already. Unfortunately, Ambrose seems a bit lost at the moment, and I think they just want Miz as champion - which is why we're getting it again.

If they put on more like that I'll tune in every week.
