Sending money from Japan to Ireland, Taxable?

I'm currently living in Japan, and I've started to think about sending extra cash I have back home. Is income I've earned while living in Japan taxable if sent back to Ireland?
    Thanks!

No it's not up to 3,000 a year if you give it to someone else.

After that you eat into your lifetime credits.

if you are sending back to your own bank account ensure you are non resident. There is a thread in the stickies as to how you elect this if you are living abroad. If you are non resident then no, it's not taxable here.
