Cpc for artic licence

Hello all. I got my C truck license back in 06 so I qualified for the acquired rights. I'm up to date with my cpc modules. I'm thinking of going for the artic license now. So I'm just wondering do I have to go through all the cpc stuff that the newbies have to do when starting off?

What did you have to do to get it and when did you get your C license

I got them at the same time. I went to ndls and applied to add C to my full license and at same applied for the CE permit. I had to the theory test for C before that but you might have acquired rights to get a CE permit if you got C in 2006 but probably worth giving them a call to double check. My OH had to go do the theory test for BE even though she,d a full license ndls said she,d to do theory test coz she had never done a theory test before. they can be funny. You,ll also need a medical when applying for the permit and then again when you pass the test

Thanks. I'm getting different answers from both the rsa and ndls. One says I don't need a theory test. Then the other says I do as part of the cpc. I'm lost with them
