    On a serious note, i dunno. Just looking at them there now. It doesnt seem to have anything to do with design anyway. I suppose its just where they are made maybe and customer loyalty in terms of where they are made

    One thing I've noticed is that the upper corners of the Thurles guards tend to be longer loops and go further back towards the rear of the helmet. Only an amateurs observation, mind.
