    Hi

Looking to know of anywhere in Ireland where I could get a final drive reconditioned for the above digger.

I replaced all the bearings in it last year as a home made keep me going job however its failed again and fear I may need to get it professionally done .

a new final drive is minimum €1380 plus vat

    all suggestions welcome

Mp Crowley in cork would be a good place to start. Quality people and workmanship there. No connection just what I know from customers of theirs.

+1 to mp crowley pm me if you need a contact there.

But if it were me I'd suffer the cost of the new one. Spent a week stripping a takeuchi drive last year and the parts are expensive, I think the best part of 1000 and then there are still worn parts left inside.

Ended up buying a new one from astrak... great service overnight delivery and about half an hour to fit.

    .

Have to agree. A lot of lads won't give much warranty on standing over job if it goes again.
