Peugeot 307 bonnet release lever is loose and appears to have 'popped' out of holder (see pic). Not sure if holder is broken, although it doesn't appear to be.
Any idea how to get the lever back into correct position? It still works btw, just worried it may get damaged over time. Thanks.

You can probably just press it back into place.
Or maybe there is supposed to be a bolt holding it in place.

    How did it happen?

Thanks for that, tried popping into place but it takes a lot of effort and wont go in. Not sure when or how it happened, been like that for a loooong time.

Right, had another go and it finally popped back in :) A significant amount of force was involved which makes me wonder how it popped out in the first place. Anyhoo all good now :)
