    Disappointing loss at home

yeah, same old problem of not winning ball. we are in a better place than last year (wouldn't be hard I suppose) and hopefully have something to build on

Football was dire, little or no runs from the forwards which leads to passes backwards or sideways in midfield.

That kind of a result doesn't do any team any good.

After watching that football match on Sunday, we need to puncture all the footballs in the county. They should be playing basketball. What a load of ****e. Football is ****ed.

Minor Hurling Cork Play Waterford 25/4 or 3/5 Pairc Ui Rinn
Loser plays Limerick - winner into Semi finals

Minor Football Cork play Tipp Thurles 12/4 @ 7.00pm
Winner - semis; loser plays winner of play-off between two teams that lost 1st rnd games

    No idea on panels...

We should play all our intercounty GAA matches at U-17 level. Forget about senior :D

Full time in the Munster Minor Football QF

    Cork 3-21 Tipperary 1-8

Statement on the Cork GAA website about the next round

"Contrary to reports of a Cork v Kerry semi-final meeting in the 2017 Electric Ireland Munster Minor Football Championship, please note that the Semi-Final line-up will be confirmed after the Semi-Final playoffs are complete with repeat pairings to be avoided."

So if Tipperary go through then they play Kerry and Cork play Limerick but if Clare go through then Cork will play Kerry in the semi final

Poor Brian Hurley is facing a make or break surgery on his hamstring next Tuesday in London. He had severely damaged it yet again in a club game last month after coming back from it being torn off the bone

He says if it doesn't work then he won't be playing football again and that will be the end of his career :(:(

He was going to leave it heal naturally but he feels this will be better for him.

Very risky and we all hope it goes well for him

Very doubtful he will be back tbh - it is a career eding injury for the best of sports people and having done it once, and now a second time chances are he'll do it again

They have a a minor and U-17 competition this year as other wise some players may have missed out on the chance to play provincial underage championships.
Next year will be U-17 only
