Anyone have experience of these. I am looking for a HD combo box which can have a mixed 7 day epg (via enigma2 or whatever) which can timeshift, record on one while watching the other etc. These 2 seem to fit the bill - Edison is a bit more expensive but has wifi built in so don't need to buy a dongle.

I have one of these ,Edison mini , past year+ now and find it great box, stable and the built in wifi is great , I have twin DVB-s2 tuners , so i can watch one sat and record other , if installed an app on tablet I can watch sat channel on it while kids are watching their cartoons .. only thing is after a year plus the remote is looking a bit shabby , even though I had it wrapped plastic until three months ago(just saw remote €10) ,( remote can also be programmed to operate tele/dvd/other ). I see zgemma alot on english sites,so very well supported if your into add on and images .
Running enigma 2 on it,,, would/will buy another . hope this helps.

I have the Zgemma H2s and I have to say its a brilliant box, very stable, and so much stuff available for it, skins and other stuff that I cant talk about here, it has 2 tuners so you can record 1 channel and watch another and also its so easy to stream from. I have a firestick connected to another tv and I can stream from my zgemma to it. I can even watch my zgemma recordings on the other tv. there are also free apps to stream to your phone or tablet, its a very versatile box and all for around €100

Do you just plug them in to the dish and you get free to air or is there anything else involved. I know these are used for card sharing but I'm not asking about that. If I buy one of these from Amazon and hook it up will I get free to air BBC and the likes?

yes, note its a twin tuner so its best to have 2 feeds from the dish and it comes with an image loaded so good to go. I dont know how techie you are but you must be prepared to read a bit. It hooks up to the internet as well. What have you got at present?
