Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Siggy

    Heaton
    Alonso Pieters Holebas
    King Siggy Alli Sanchez(c)
    Aguero Lukaku Origi

2 FTs so brought in Alli & Origi for Mane & Llorente, fairly standard move I think

  • Registered Users Posts: 487 ✭✭stuba

    Foster
    A. Williams Pieters Bertrand
    Ali Sterling Siggy Sanchez (C)
    Origi Costa Lukaku

Subs wont play. Could do with a good week but not too confident.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,787 ✭✭✭Benimar

    De Gea
    Alonso, Valencia, Davies
    Sanchez (c), Alli, Siggy, Sane
    Lukaku, Deeney, Vardy (vc)

    Pickford, Tom Carroll, Chambers, Holgate

The captaincy may very well change yet though.

We have a very similar team, whats your overall rank?

    DDG
    Valencia Bavies Yoshida
    Siggy SanChez Eriksen Redmond
    Ibra Lukaku Vardy

Will Robbie Brady start this evening? If so, I'd look to play him ahead of Andy Carroll or Pedro.

Still torn on Sanchez v Vardy captaincy. On Vardy at the moment based on the talk of Sanchez playing very deep last weekend, although I didn't see any of the match myself.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 8,502 ✭✭✭spock.

    Jaku
    Walker Britos Brunt
    Sanchez(c) Alli Son Siggy
    Aguero Lukaku Barnes
    (King Alonso Baines)

Only 4 players playing tonight so hoping for a 0-0 at Watford and blanks for Ibra and Vardy

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,280 ✭✭✭✭mdwexford

    Foster
    Valencia - Lovren - Vertonghen
    Siggy - Pedro - Coutinho - Tadic - Alli
    Vardy (C) - Lukaku

    Pedro, Siggy, Sterling, Redmond
    Costa, Origi

    DDG, Lukaku, King, Stones

    Foster
    Robertson Alonso Bavies
    Carroll Son Alli Mahrez
    Vardy Aguero Lukaku

    Pickford De Roon Daniels Jones

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,714 ✭✭✭Cartman78

    -4

    Heaton

    Azpi Brunt Verthongen

    Coutinho Alli Ayew Siggy

    Vardy (C) Carroll Costa

    Subs: Foster Barkley Smith Amat

Still not decided on midfield - one of Ayew, Siggy and Barkley will be benched....all have poor form and crappy fixtures. Barkley benched for the minute due to yellow card potential

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,941 ✭✭✭✭ShaneU

    Foster

    Valencia Alonso Yoshida Gibson

    Sanchez (C) Alli Eriksen Sigurdsson

    Aguero Lukaku

    Pickford Llorente Mawson Clayton

Not expecting much this gw, took a -4 to take out Mané and Brunt for Sanchez and Yoshida

Is leaving out Alonso or Lukaku for Carroll crazy?

Remember hearing about his mad stats against Arsenal

  • Registered Users Posts: 7,672 ✭✭✭ScummyMan

    De Gea
    Alonso Bertrand Bavies
    Sanchez Alli Zaha Redmond
    Vardy(c) Costa Lukaku

I personally feel that if you have Alonso you should always play him. I think that like PVA, you're playing him for his attacking potential and not his defensive.

Hard to see Everton creating much against Utd, if Antonio is back for West Ham, that will benefit Carroll plus Arsenal have no Cech or Koscielny, should be plenty of chances for him

    Jak
    Alonso Davies Berty
    Sané Coutinho Sanchez Alli Walcott
    Lukaku Costa

    Pickford Nyom Fernández Gabbi

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,341 ✭✭✭El Horseboxo

Have read a fair few comments elsewhere that Valencia is not in the squad tonight. Supposedly to be based on some MEN article from yesterday based on who was seen at the Lowry hotel.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 48,254 ✭✭✭✭km79

Ended up taking a minus 4 as there was a real danger I'd end up with 10 if things don't go my way
Will try and bank at the weekend and see if Kane is fit the weekend after

    Who else do you have??

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,969 ✭✭✭✭alchemist33

With Fabio concussed, Gabbadiani likely out, and valencia rested, I'm down to the bare bones already. Nothing worth a hit there though.

Robertson, Alonso, Baines (bench), Davies, Yoshida

Sanchez, Firmino, Siggy, Ericson, Carrol (bench)

    Costa, Lukaku, Carrol

Might go Costa to Ibra before tonight

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,205 ✭✭✭Lucas Hood

I don't see Valencia being rested . He probably just made his own way to the Lowry like Martial &Mhki.

Away to Sunderland at the weekend would be a far easier game to rest him in.

That's assuming he's not injured of course.

I'd have Alonso starting before Yoshida definitely and probably Robertson

    Robles or Pickford?

    Pickford of course

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,399 ✭✭✭✭ThunbergsAreGo

Robles, given United attack save points seem a certainty

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,205 ✭✭✭Lucas Hood

    Flip a coin.

Bookies have Everton with just slightly better odds than Sunderland to keep a clean sheet.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,205 ✭✭✭Lucas Hood

Arsenal could have to play their 3rd choice keeper against West Ham tomorrow.
    Ospina a doubt apparently.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,929 ✭✭✭kopite386

    Jackupovic
    Huth, McAuley, Mawson
    Brady, Sterling, Alli, Pedro, Erisken
    Vardy, Lukaku
    Bench: Heaton, Azplizecuta, Barnes, PVA

Currently have Alli as my captain but might swap it to Vardy before the deadline I am still not 100% certain on it

Just looked at the FFS Captain Poll, top 4 are Sanchez, Vardy, Ibra, Coutinho - none of whom I have in my team. Could be a disaster of a GW for me. Starting on a -4, did FM to Bavies and Mane to Dele.

    Rolling with:

    Heaton
    Robertson Bavies Rojo
    Sterling Dele (c) Siggy King
    Aguero Lukaku Costa (vc)

    Grant Brunt Mawson De Roon

Lack of captain options so going with Dele, hopefully I'm not being too biased as a Spurs fan.

WC played. Have to mix it up over last few GWs to have any hope of eating into a 100 point lead.

    Pickford

    Valencia? Bertrand Fuchs

    San(c)hez Eriksen Tadic Siggy

    Ibrahimovic Lukaku Benteke

    Sub: Grant T-Carroll Mawson M-Kelly

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,685 ✭✭✭sheroman01

I'm expecting a very low score for myself this GW. C'monnnn one week captain punt Vardy :)

    Foster
    Ward, Yoshida, Bavies
    Siggy, Sanchez, Tavies, Zaha, Hazard
    Vardy(C), Lukaku

  • Registered Users Posts: 16,305 ✭✭✭✭Mr.Prodston

    Heaton
    Brunt - Davies - Robertson
    Alli - Siggy - Grosicki - Sanchez (c)
    Lukaku - Vardy - Aguero

Pickford: Mawson - Capoue - Amat

    -4

Would appreciate if the Hull boys could be heroes for more than just one day.

Sanchez and Vardy responsible for the hit.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,911 ✭✭✭tailgunner

    Heaton
    Brunt, Bertrand, Valencia,
Alli, Sigurdsson, Firmino, Sanchez (c), Zaha
    Lukaku, Vardy

    Pickford, Pieters, Llorente, Mawson

No hits. I think Vardy is the better captaincy option this week, but Sanchez always seems to deliver when I doubt him.

Bench Pedro or Lukaku and play Barnes (Burnley)?
Bench Alonso and play McAuley? Though if Valencia is indeed out McAuley will sub in.

I've benched Alonso (first sub) and played McCauley (Valenica+Fuchs). I can't see Chelsea keeping a clean sheet
