Hi I am about 4 months into saving with the bank of Ireland deposit monthly savings account. How can one track the interest rates as it says they are variable. What kind of money would one be looking to likely yield from small investments such as 50 Euro a month? Thanks a lot!

You can find the rates here: BOI Rates

They wont be amazing in the current environment. Don't forget them rates are Gross so you'll be paying DIRT also.

As close to zero as imaginable.

Considering BOI offer almost the worst savings rates in the world, you're probably earning almost zero as pointed out above. If you are saving per month, KBC has best rate @ 3.5% if you have a current account with them, or else EBS @ 3.0% for one year.

    Avoid BOI like the plague.

50 euro a month will net you approximately 2.50 interest after year 1.

    Get yourself a coffee.
