    Hi

I rented house recently and I am new to water heating system. I have horstmann economy 7 quartz heater system at home. Owner told me that it can be set so that i will heat the water in non pick hours. I have started main switch but somehow it got started at 12:00 pm.
I want to set it at night time. I tried couple of time but it is not happening. Please guide me how to set it.

Hi, rotate clockwise the timer on the control panel untill you match the exact time of the day you are at with the black indicator line from "summer time". This way your clock panel is set to work knowing the exact time of the day. So when the pick off hours kick in cheaper water heating will run automatically depending on how the panel had been set. For instance my heater starts at around 5 am and runs for four hours. Similar it should be in your case too. You can't set up the heating hours as that is the job for a technician.
    Hope this helps
