Aoibheen's partner is smitten with her

Thought that might happen. Feckin Kerry voters, as if it isn't bad enough that they have inflicted the Healey-Raes on us:mad:

If I'm honest with myself it feels good Ireland's newest sweetheart didn't win but it also annoying that the nod and wink crowd hijacked the vote. Not a guard on the beat in Ireland all evening, probably on the phones texting in.

Very true, she was more consistent and l know she had training and experience but the voting was a bit like the Eurovison lol

Probably the Garda vote swayed it too. To be fair although the women were better AOM wasn't terrible. He put in some great performances.

Well early but given that it was a huge success who'd ya think they'll be lining up for next year?

He is married to Aidan's partner so I reckon he has plenty enough to be smitten with already!

Judging by the amount of people saying they wont be watching next year id say that was the last series of Dancing with the Stars Ireland. Oh well bring on Strictly the proper show

I don't get it though. As a gaa man from Laois i'd no more be inclined to vote for O'Mahony. They surely wouldn't in Cork!

I think it's teens and twenty/thirty something females being more likely to txt vote.

Every year with You're A Star and the Voice bar one or two years young good looking males were winning too.

Des Cahill wasn't a GAA vote either. He was a struggling nice, older man and got a sympathy vote.

However talent didn't win tonight. Bottom line.

With all due respect to Aidan, that was ridiculous and he looked embarrassed. Dayl probably should have won as he was the best dancer in the competition without a doubt, while Denise and Aoibhin definitely deserved to be finalists. I imagine that future series will include an input in the final from the judges...
