Just wish Eoin wouldn't screech so much at these live gigs..

Contrary to a lot of other posters on here, I like the rugby coverage but they badly need to find new analysts/pundits. There's only so much of Gerry Thornley and Shane Horgan one can take! There are loads of decent rugby pundits out there, it shouldn't be too difficult to get 1 or 2 new faces to add a bit of variety.

I used to like Thornley, he is still ok when covering the provincial games but he is insufferable when covering Ireland. He speaks as if he is a current coach on the team or an employed press officer for Joe Schmidt.

He's a rugby version of Graham Hunter. (Maybe that's a bit unfair)

While I can see where you're coming from, that's an absolutely horrible thing to say about anyone.

Terribly unfair. Hunter is in a league of his own, though Marcotti at the live show ran him awfully, awfully close.

Marcotti came across as an even bigger prick on the live show than he ever sounds on a normal pod.

Ken reading out comments slagging off his piece on Man Utd on Monday was hilarious "I'd rather give my 5 Euro a month to ISIS" and "This is like something Miguel Delaney would write" were the highlights.

Great piece on Socrates, it's great they've more time to dedicate to more historical items like that.

On the off chance some of the authors mentioned were listening to the podcast, how do you think they would feel?

On the one hand your work is being broadcast nationally (well to a few thousand people anyway), but on the other it's being mercilessly mocked..

I haven't had a chance to listen to anything this week yet. Are any of the pods worth listening now? Or are they mainly current news, so just listen to today's?

They were typical one-eyed and blinkered responses you'd expect, Ken's smug tone made it hilarious.

Pretty stupid I'd imagine, but it'd be no harm if it encourages people to think before they post garbage on the internet next time

Couldn't give a toss either way how they feel tbh

    Who cares how they feel?

They voluntarily chose to publicly ridicule the article. It's not a one way street. If they are worried about their 'feelings' then maybe that's not the most sensible thing to do.

Pretty sure the posters talking about the journos feelings, though I think only Miguel Delaney was mentioned

Ken does like to sneer. He;s the original liberal snowflake. I still like his stuff; when he gets older though, he'll realise what an awful twat he's been. Don't bite that hand that feeds you Ken. Football is an ever diminishing return

People that leave ridiculous comments like the ones in the quoted post are not the hand that feeds Ken. They are the minority.

Are they indeed? You know this then? Most message boards/online comment sections are littered with comments like this. Give me a break. Football, be it EFL or Champions League is most media organisations staple and it's just click bait junk. They know it as well

Trying to comprehend that last sentence for last few minutes and still have no idea what you're on about.

"I'd rather give a fiver to ISIS?"

Those hateful comments aren't the point of view of an average reader of a newspaper article. Most people just read the article and don't bother commenting. The comments they read out were from Man Utd. fans that were insulted that Ken dared question their team. Ken is right to take the piss out of them.

Give me a break. Are you the actual snowflake?

Haven't finished it yet, but Murph's impression of Eamonn Norris talking about the goose had me cacking myself on the train home.

Seriously, though, I want to hear 'exquisite gooooose' in a future audio montage, don't care how they shoe-horn it in.
