Have you seen this new place opening in town.
I for one wish nick and the guys the best of luck.
Also I've backed their kickstarter.
I sold them my roadshow last year.

Ok,
The issue around the advertising wasn't an Arcade and Retro issue, it is a Boards matter, and policy on advertising things on the various threads and forums.
I suppose the risk, if it was a "thing", is that forums would be swamped with people looking for publicity for any number of things, like a certain Gamecon recently, and if it turns out to be a turd the brand of Boards is damaged as a result, mostly through the reduced quality of the experience of the users of these forums.

I think there is any number of A&R regulars who would love to have a party night in the location, as described, and I'd hate to think that a mix up with the Boards.ie advertising policy will affect that.

We could possibly make some sort of regular contact with the manager of the establishment for booking it, if it's necessary, simply as a large group.

I don't think an association with Boards is going to make us persona non grata with the management of Token... unless things really escalate in the coming hours/days!

Ah. Don't think there's any real issue. The prison thread seems amicable.

It's bad form to just post up stuff like that without clearing it with a mod first, but they're doing a big blitz on social media this morning and it's easy to make mistakes.
