Siemens SPC Installers

    Hi, I've read a lot of positive opinions on here about the Siemens SPC panels, but not sure who installs these in South Dublin, can someone recommend some good installers?

    Is a Wireless module required to connect to WiFi in order to use the SPC app for notifications?
    Is there much of a difference in cost between a Wireless module and a GSM dialer?

    Any general advice welcome for a newcomer.

    For IP and to use SPC Connect you need the SPC 4320. It's a Lan connection, not WiFi that's used. You can add a WiFi adapter, but we find power line adapters more reliable. We use the likes of TP links all the time.
    This panel would work out cheaper than adding a GSM dialler. There is also no charges for the apps and no ongoing subscription charges to use the app.
    Take a look at the suppliers sticky for some installers and a link to the PSA register for installers.

    The downside to using just the connection from a router is when the mains is off you will have no connection to the panel.
    Id advise a second connection by means of adding a GSM to the system.
