I just got a text saying to give it an hour or two before heading into work in Ballylanders County Limerick due to heavy snow. Happy Days.

Maybe look up the hill? With some clearance of cloud here (in Dublin 16), I can see hints of snow towards the top of the Dublin Mountains.

Has been just rain here. 14.8mm since yesterday evening. 4.1c atm.

Snowing like crazy west of Cork City - huge fluffy flakes and sticking on the grass. Didn't expect this at all!

It has been coming down really heavy for over an hour at Cork airport and doesn't look like stopping. Sticking everywhere .... was heavy enough when I left Rochestown at around 7.15 also

I wonder if that band coming in off the Irish Sea will bring anything for east Leinster

Just rain for most! Unless you are over 300m or so.

About 3-5 cm I guess up near Knockmealdowns (still in co Waterford though :) ).
Very wet snow, if it rains any bit it'll be gone quick but it's still falling as snow, albeit smaller flakes now.

Snowing in bishops town, Cork! Sticking to grass and cars, not the road. About 5 minutes out is pretty thick snow. Hopefully it moves in!

It's a beautiful morning in Tuam! didn't get the hard frost we were promised last night but I am not too cut up about this at all as some of the little cuttings I planted last year are beginning to show signs of life. I personally could not care less about frost and snow at this time of year. :o

had a look on my way into work, nothing worth writing home about even up at higher elevations.

Montpellier hill had nothing at all, although it is lower.

Light dusting further up, but not much elsewhere.

Snow was falling at 02.00 this morning, lovely large fluffy flakes.. Landing on trees and cars but not surviving the landing on wet ground.
This morning when looking out, no snow left at all.

Very frustrating. We seem to get snow more frequently in March than any other month. I think we have had falling snow (usually in the morning) in Cork city in about 4 of the last 5 years. I wish I could say the same for January:mad:

Ah well, at least my kids (and their dad) got some snow play this morning (just to clarify it only stayed on cars and grass - if you didn't get it you didn't miss much...)
