The amount of people asking for gluten free cake or dairy free ice cream was horrendous..I mean c'mon!! We do cater towards some but not all of that malark!! Mothers day Sunday..not looking forward to it at all!!

Had one woman over the weekend come in. She was gluten and dairy free. She wanted to know if we had any desserts that were both. All I could think to give her was a fruit salad or a Strawberry Pavlova stack with no cream. She opted for the Pavlova.

I drizzled it with a Balsamic reduction/syrup (as what it says on the menu). I sent out but two seconds later she fired it back in screaming how she was dairy free and I just ruined her dessert by drizzling chocolate all over it. She never even bothered to taste it. I had to calmly explain that it wasn't chocolate and if she had read the menu in the first place she would have realised it was Balsamic reduction. She left with her tail between her legs.

The yesterday I had another woman come in and order two jelly and ice creams for her kids HOWEVER one of the kids is allergic to ice cream. Fair enough I'll give them extra jelly..but no..no..no..the kid is allergic but can still have a *small* amount of ice cream. Ok then..I gave the child half a scoop. Two minutes later the woman was back looking for more ice cream for the kid with the allergy...like ****ing seriously. The kid with the allergy ended up having more ice cream than it's sibling who didn't...
