Turntable/Speaker/Spotify

I've decided to move into this century by beginning to download music instead of buying CD's. My plan at the moment is to Buy a speaker and turntable (for records) and connect via Bluetooth. 1. Am I going about this the correct way? (I haven't a clue)

2. Where would you recommend I purchase said items in Dublin?

Your best bet would be to get one of these but i think you'd need an amp for it to connect to.
You'd probably need an amp anyway if you're getting a turntable.
