Xtratherm Cavity Tray Channel

Whats peoples opinion on these? Are they a glorified led channel or worth the money. They look to be a pain in the rear end to install and not cheap to buy. is led nailed to wall and plastered over is just as good?

Xtratherm are selling a precut insulated panel to accomodate the space behind plastic liner trays. The insulation is sticky pinned to the inner leaf, nothing particularly difficult about fixing that. Your cold bridging is then minimalised.
