    Hi all.

Looking for some thoughts/ guidance on a house I'm interested in buying.

The septic tank is not situated where it should be as per the planning .House was built in circa 2009 .The septic tank in its current location is quite some distance away from the approved site for the tank.

A qualified Engineer signed it off as compliant when the house was built. This man is no longer in business.

If i declared the above to my bank would this impact on me securing the loan?

Any thoughts or feedback on any of the above I'd greatly appreciate it.

walk it with a local engineer, they'll give you a fair idea whether retention is required/would be granted

Would it impact on the loan granting if the issue was declared to the bank?

This is the construction and planning forum - perhaps ask your solicitor - you are the one signing the contract with the bank.

The mods could transfer this to accommodation and property forum if you'd like?
