Sky hd box multiroom

Ok I am using one of those boxes as a fta receiver to get the eir sport pack. I am not a sky subscriber. anyway turned on the box and says no signal being received error code 25. tried the box on another sat point and same issue. Silly question but have you tried resetting the box?

I have done all the necessary reset/rebuilding at various sat points throughout the house but to no avail.

Someone posted here recently about leaving the card in the box for 24 hours or so - powered on of course. That may work.
