There are a few threads here about Ballyfermot...Its a big enough area so what part, I have never lived there myself so cant really comment on actually living there.
Unfortunally when you google it it all comes up about Drugs gangs shootings etc etc ,

I did drink there many years ago & while we had no problems it was a type of very clannish place,

Have a search here for the other threads or hopefully someone else can help you out.
