Is there a Tuam Song Yet?

I am not being disrespectful, but I am cynical about how in this country someone writes a song about these events and suddenly the criminal nature of the church crimes are washed away by a million wagons with acoustic guitars up down the country singing it for the next ten years.

I actually think these 'protest songs' do more damage than anything as the superficially emotionally trivialize something that should be seen a major crime.

Unfortunately, in this country we do better at writing hit songs about, than stopping or prosecuting church sex and child abuse criminals.
