Would not bother me in the slightest. If it is the right woman then her name is not going to put me off.
Funnily enough both my brothers in law are married to ladies with the same christian name.

Same first name - A bit weird

Same first and surname - Creep city.

I went out with a girl who had a very very similar first name and same surname to me. When I asked her name I thought she knew my name and was being funny with me, turned out she wasn't and she didn't believe me when I told her my name. It fizzled out shortly afterwards as to be honest it was just fcuking freaky us both have more or less the same name....it was a pity as she was a complete ride.

I go out with someone with the same name as sister and it's never bothered me whatsoever.

However, I think the same surname would creep me out a lot more.

    Same name as Brother/Sister no.

Same name as your ex... now that'd be a bit strange

Two brothers marrying two sisters now that's odd.

Girl I know married a guy who had the same surname as her first name. Think like Ryan Ryan. She didn't take his name though but funny all the same.

I have 3 aunts who married 3 brothers... Different first names though...

My sister-in-law has a father, uncle (mothers brother), brother and now husband all with the same first name.

Since two of my brothers are Michael and John - 2 of the most common names in Ireland practically it's almost strange that I never did date/kiss anyone of the same name.

Chances in Ireland is quite high with everyone called either Patrick or Mary.

I was in a meeting earlier with 12 other people in different countries. 4 Michaels on the call. Too confusing.

I've the same name as the missus' brother and her sister has a husband with the same name as her other brother. My own brother in law has the same name as me.

Christmas can ger confusing. If you think it's odd thought, that's odd itself.

I had met a few years ago someone who had the female version of my first name and the same surname. Not related in the slightest and I found that weird and amusing all the same.

I once lived near a couple called Patrick and Patricia.
In itself that's not particularly odd, but both of them were known as "Pat"!

My sister doesn't have a common name so I would never do that,
My mother has the same name as my fathers mother and my mothers mother has the same name (maiden name) as other grandmother. So my Mother is called Mary O'....., my granny was called that and my other granny was called that before she married.

A friend of mine and his dad are married to a pair of sisters.

It's unusual and sounds odd but it isn't when you think about it.

my name is very common in ireland but its a girls name elsewhere in the world and once while travelling i met a girl with my name who i intentionally slept with because of this... (she was into it too)

    <---not that one

My niece (brother's daughter) has the same first name as my sister-in-law's (other brother's wife) surname, so the SIL wasn't allowed have a double-barreled name.
