Refurbishment sequence of works

Just bought a new house it's an ex-rental and needs a complete refurb. New floors doors, skirting, door frames, kitchen and bathroom, painting etc. In terms of lining people up to do the work what is the correct order to get works done after everything has been stripped out?
1) painting walls & ceilings
2) lay floors
3) skirting boards, doors etc

I wouldn't be an expert in this field but would be willing to give a few tips.

First of all if you have no clue about construction you may want somebody that you trust and is qualified to have a look at the place. You may want to look at the electrics, piping, insulation and such before all the aesthetics just to be on the safe side if bits and pieces start to break after all the work is done...

Otherwise they do say in any refurb job you'll be starting from the ceiling down
