Businesses/shops/services in other countries that are not in Ireland yet

This is one for aspiring entrepreneurs to keep an eye on.

Last week I came across a large shop in Munich where you bought "vintage" (but new) clothes by weight. I went in and each item had a colour attached to it. You walked up to a weighing scales and pressed the relevant colour, put your clothes on the scales and it told you the total price.

Interesting concept, and it seems from its website here that it has been in business since 1989 and has now seven stores across Germany.

Any other business ideas that work in other countries but have not reached Ireland yet?

We have vintage kilo sales here that work similarly without the colour system.

I bet there'd be lots of interest in a burrito/taco fast food chain here but we don't have one yet I don't think.

Brought herself to The Cheesecake Factory in Florida last week, I think she's still devastated that it doesn't exist here

Waitrose and John Lewis are the two I can think of. It would be great if we had better choice in high end groceries that's a bit better than m&s.

We already have TK Maxx for dated tat that's packed tightly on the rails. You'd spend ages rummaging to find anything decent.

This was my first thought too. Waitrose is my go-to for foody treats.

Used to live in North Carolina and spent the weekends down at the Outer Banks near Nags Head.

Only place I've ever seen this place

Basically it's an off licence you drive through. Imagine the carnage here!!

You drive through the store and they hand stuff to you through your window. If ever near one go to it for the experience.

Cat, dog, rabbit, and bird cafes like there are in Japan.

Go and get a drink and relax while looking at/petting the cute critturs.
