Just talk about what she likes and pretend you're interested. Men have been doing this for centuries.

And throw away the phones on a date, romance is on the verge of extinction.

Sure why do you think we got to horses?

Keep it up, you might get somewhere with her. She must like you to be talking about her hobbies.

Maybe she has a Daddy fund to pay for the equine interests meaning you might never need to toil and slave :o

I doubt it very much. I'm not sure what "here" actually is. The online dating forum might be worth a shot? There's a thread over in the helpdesk where you can ask for access.

No but you should try it. What have you to lose, eh?

I'm really thinking of asking a new girl in work out. My only fear is awkwardness, if she declines. I know workplace romances are common enough, but they come at a risk. She's a lovely girl anyway. There has been no flirting or anything like that. Just good chats during lunch. I can't keep resorting to online dating. It's been failing me for too long!

Suss things out as much as possible. Try to find out if single etc. No point in making things awkward.

Have been considering it but don't think I would have anyone to go with. Is going alone to these things seen as weird?

No mention of a bf. She is moving up to Dublin with a friend in the next few days, so it does look like she's single. I'll try to bring it up somehow :)
