Carlsberg don't do Italy vs England games, but if they did.....

  • This is terrific. Surprised England haven't seen a card here.

This has been 40 of the most entertaining minutes of rugby this tournament.

    England showing absolutely no ingenuity.

    TRY OMG YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES.

    This is amazing.

    That try encapsulates England's half.

    Not switched on at all.

I fúcking love a penalty chase try. If that guy is on a try bonus, I'd triple it.

Didn't something similar happen after Haimona hit the posts a few years ago?

Heaven help anyone who went out today and decided not to watch this match because it was a foregone conclusion.

    Well done Conor O'Shea!

Well it happened to Leinster in 2011 in semi final against Toulouse. That was my first thought

Ah lads its the hope that kills you. I think we all know how this story will end but Italy definitely deserve this so far.

England will still get the BP win but their PD/tries scored isn't going to be what they thought it would be after this game.

I wasn't going to watch this game.

But regardless of the final result rugby101 "laws of the game" has been D- for England.

    All brawn and no brain.

England will probably still go on and win this but they'll have to answer for that first half performance.
Big credit to Italy and O'Shea though, to come back from that performance against Ireland and go away with a half time Twickenham lead any team in the world would be happy with.

  • 15 players are about to emerge for the second half, each with two of their own buttholes.

    You couldn't make this up.

If Italy did somehow win, this would be a Japan/SA level of upset.
England were 1/200 to win. 1/200.

So we can assume the two missed penalties were actually aiming for the uprights to gain the try assist! He got his eye in in the end!!
