First time running the half in Avondale, thought it was a great event, well organised, course was tough but really enjoyable. Conditions ended up being ok, windy but sheltered in the forest, rain stayed away. Congrats to all, great charity, big thanks to volunteers. Fionnula McCormack looked in great nic won the womens 10k in 37.

Always is, I was pacing a few to sub 90 in the half, which can be difficult with the course profile and the tree cover, so it was old skool versus the mile markers.
Cheeky breeze on the main road and quite humid when you got going.
