Galaxy cookie crumble. Am usually a strictly Cadbury bar eater, but I make an exception for this :)

Think I might have to get chipper chips.

Would love a 1/4 pounder and proper chipper chips!

I was being so good today. I had a lovely stir fry with chicken, baby corn, mangetout, green beans, chickpeas and peppers for dinner.

Then I got bored later and had TEN big rice cakes. Doh.

God I'd love proper chipper chips. Those last few, slightly soggy, extra salty/vinegary ones at the bottom of the bag are the highlight of the whole experience. I miss chippery chips.

Just stewed a large pot of apples, from those picked in the garden and stored since Autumn. So what else do you do, but have a big bowl of stewed apples and custard.

Rather fine mushroom and bacon omelette. Local egg producers have a glut of small eggs as the new hens come into lay and they are very cheap.

I seen you can make omelette in a waffle maker. May have to try that this morning.

Enjoying a cooking splurge.. Made mushroom soup from scratch which will freeze... For Sunday dinner? A rather delicious chicken and ham kiev ( half price from tesco like everything else I had today), sprouts and sugar snap peas with home made cheese sauce, also from scratch

    Replete!
