Haven't eaten since Monday due to a tummy bug. Now at the stage where I'm hungry (I think) but the thought of food is sickening. It's like a vicious circle. Thinking cap time....

A banana is always nice when you're sick. Crackers or a cereal bar or have some soup or one of those soups in a cup. Slice of toast with a bit of butter maybe? You have to eat something.

Well in your honour, tonight I'm having a couple of pork chops, sweet potato fries and a side salad!

Well, what do you know? I just made a pot of vegetable soup, using the veg that was for the past couple of days. Filled a gap nicely and had some sustenance to it.
I may try a banana later. Sounds like a good plan.

Soup is the best food when you're ill. Or semolina? That goes down easy.

I just finished chips. I know everyone likes chips but I don't think I do

Breakfast was chips, onion rings, hamburger, cake.

Dinner was soup and garlic bread, bread with pate, bread with avocado, pickles, tomatoes, cheeses, salami, olives, fruits. And tiramisu. And beer.

Salmon fillet, tenderstem broccoli and cajun sweet potato cubes.
Breakfast was huge - egg, avocado, toast, turkey bacon, yoghurt, granola, honey, coco pops, smoothie and a fruit scone

Popcorn and juice later and maybe some peanut butter.

This is probably all getting very Facebook-ish , so I've resolved to restrict my offerings from here on to only non mundane everyday fare. But, not having had a proper meal since Sunday, I made my signature homemade burgers and chips this evening. Delicious, and hopefully wouldn't be a regret in an hour.

    Mint Aero?

    Don't be daft.
