    You shared it yourself...

Everyone was enjoying the irony, no need to ruin it!! ;)

    Ok.... Let's rejig this

Some geezer is doing the doors at an underage disco. See's 2 teenagers getting jiggy, takes a picture, posts it on the internet. Is that OK?

Yeah they probably aren't riding but I really don't get how people don't think this is a bit off to share on a high profile social media account, I've the feeling if it was some random middle aged white dude taking the pics a lot more people would be finding it dubious as hell.

Besides your seeming victim complex (strange how the middle aged fella would have to be white in your hypothetical?), what's wrong with showing two people showing a passionate public display of affection?

He posted a backstage picture of a Group of teenage girls, with one of the riding another young lad. The girls in question look quite questionable of age

Doesn't look like anyone is "riding" anyone in that photo.
You are trying to make a story where there isn't one imo

Two underage people is rather different to two people particularly if consent has not been given.
I say white because this is an Irish pic and thats the traditional stereotype of a pervy character.

Is it definitely backstage? Any evidence to corroborate this?

Very little, more evidence to the contrary in fact: ATM ,no seats, tinted lighting.

Might not even be at a concert, could be at a shopping centre during a power shortage.

So in summary, I am the only person that finds it creepy that one of this rappers entourage is going around taking pictures of underage teenagers riding each other and posting it on the internet to millions of people.

Have I taken the wrong turn onto the dark web?

If your trying to convince yourself that Irish teenagers don't indulge in casual sex then I can see how this would annoy you.
None of the children are identifiable. If it makes parents think about where their own little darlings are and what they might be doing then I think it's a great picture.

The people in the picture don't seem all that impressed that the other guy in the room is some international celebrity. You'd think he'd have more star appeal than an ATM machine.

Is that the whole point of the picture? He was in the room and he was able to take that photo because nobody was paying attention.

    Who said Drake took it?

Not necessarily re stereotype, and what age are the two people? It's basically impossible to tell from the photo - you can't see their faces their body types apart from that they are thin, their height, or really anything barring the colour of their hair and clothes. EDIT: Actually you can't even make out the colour of their clothes.

It's not like a Drake concert is an underage event or even something like say a Justin Bieber concert - he's hugely popular with people all through their teens and 20s (though even as someone who enjoys a fair bit of rap music, I have no idea why...)

And he says Drake was American, so I doubt he would know.

Yep, and we're in the British Isles, so we're British.

Well to be fair, if you ask people from South or Central America if they've 'ever been to America' they tend to be fairly unimpressed. :p

Fair enough but their interpretation of America is different to ours. 'American' usually relates to the USA in everyday parlance over here. In the Latin world, it's in the continental sense, not disputing that.

I know, just being a pedant for the sake of it. :D

And to be fair, most Canadians if you asked them if they were American would be equally unimpressed. ;)

Are we having a po faced competition these days. See who can be the most outraged by the most benign of things. I seen that photo a few days ago and never thought much of it.

That the pass machine is working

    What's a pass machine?

I would have thought it would be fair to assume the person posting the picture was most likely to be the one that took it.

"It is a picture from an American Rapper called Drake."

That could easily be understood as he took it, to be fair.

Yeah actually your probably right, it doesn't seem like their faces are properly visible, that said everybody else in the picture looks under 18 and it seems a reasonable assumption that they are too

Maybe someone from the photography forum can clarify the publication/consent thing on this

Reminds me of my old flat mate insisting on calling the spatula a fish slice!

To be honest I think it's pretty interesting - the girl on the phone is hard to tell though at a guess anywhere from 16-19, but girl using the ATM does look very young, and that's probably what it making people's to jump to conclusions most of all despite the body language not showing any signs that the girl on her phone, girl on the ATM, and the couple know each other from Adam. The human brain is a funny auld one like that. :D

I don't think twitter posting would be covered. If you're using the photos for comercial profit you need release forms. But generally if you take photos of people in public places there's no law stopping you. It probably could be argued his twitter feed is a part of his business but it would be up to the people in the photo to spend a lot of money arguing their case.

Love these threads when people post something thinking everyone is going to agree and it's the complete opposite :pac:

It looks to me that as drake or his roadie were passing an enclosed ATM machine they saw a young girl take money out, another girl on her phone and couple making out (shifting as the locals call it).

    So he took a picture.
