Just updated to Android 6.0 last night.

However the wifi hotspot turns itself off after about 10 minutes.
I thought it might turn itself off if not being used but I was using it constantly and it turns off anyway!
I've tried a few external apps but no joy.

This sucks as I'm on Three all you can eat data so it's my main house connection.

    Regards

What device? And is it running a Three variant? My phone is on marshmallow and has a setting under Portable Hotspot Settings for Power Saving. Ie. turn off after 10 minutes, 5 minutes, Never etc. Anything there for you? Bearing in mind that some phone manufacturers or operators will tweak these types of settings or remove them altogether.

No seen that while I was looking through the internet looking for a solution and my phone doesn't have those options.

My phone is actually an unlocked Vodafone Smart Ultra 7.
Hotpot was working perfectly until I upgraded to Marshmallow
