    I picked it up last week; I imagine the offer is over at this stage.

    On another note, Aldi have 50cl bottles of 5.5 ABV German Christmas beer reduced from €1.99 to €1.49 while stocks last. Tasty.

    4x33cl Leffe is still €6 in Dunnes. More convenient if you've no fellow Leffe drinkers in your company!

    I wouldn't say it's an general offer as such, rather individual stores getting rid of short dated stock.

    It was definitely on general offer when I availed of it in two different stores. Bottles weren't short-dated.

    Sharps Wolf Rock red ipa 500ml is €1 per bottle in dunnes, best before end of February. Will be reduced further if stocks don't clear.

    No sign of them in Dunnes Stephens Green or Georges St. Either its a local thins, or sold out. Still selling the Sharpes Amber Ale 4 for €10.

    There was around 40 bottles in Cornelscourt on Friday and not one on Monday morning, someone had a good weekend!

    Aldi Bagnelstown (Carlow) to-day. 4 bottle "world beer" selection reduced to €4.99 (Asahi 33cl, San Miguel 33cl, Holsten Pils 27.5cl and Brahma 33cl) plus the La Goudale 750 cl reduced to €2.49.

    My local Dunnes has And Union Sunday pale ale 5.5% 500mL half price 1.50 each, BB date is late March but my ones won't survive the weekend...

    These Dunnes offers aren't really sales as such.

    It's more to do with turnover so different stores will have different ones short dated.

    For instance I got a bottle(only one short dated) of Lagunitas in my local on Thursday for e2.25.

    It'll vary massively by the store and the kind of shoppers they have, stock ordered etc

    Yes it's probably local only.

    The And Union Friday is much nicer imho but they don't have it in stock at all at the moment. Nice as it is, I'd be reluctant to pay over 3 euro a bottle for it though.

    And they've Bishops Finger for €1.99. And some French Trappist-type 750ml called Abbaye de Vauclair for €2.79. Might be Lidl own brand though, and one version is 4.5%.

    Scaldy Porter (Best before March 2017) reduced from 3 euro to 2 euro but scanning for 1 euro in O'Briens Sandyford.

    When my five bottles scanned for a fiver, I promptly returned for seven more. Glorious stuff. Probably about 6 bottles left.
