    Hi
I need to install a bidet seat to a toilet in my house. The seat is one of the ones on the attached brochure. I was hoping someone could help with the following questions before I buy the unit.

Would a plumber be able to install this by himself or would an electrician be needed for the electric work.
Roughly how much would I be charged for the installation.
Is there any reason such a seat couldn't be installed on a toilet.

Thanks to anyone who takes a look.

There's a big issue with electrical regulations if you are installing it near a bath or shower as it may be in the protected zones.

You'd want to consult an electrician as you may be walking yourself into a lot of issues here due to bathroom regs.

Hi i am having something very similar fitted at the minute. We are setting up for it. Our electrician said he had to fit switches for power due to regulations. Basically looks like a waterproof box with a switch inside that the adaptation will be wired to.

Hi. I'm looking for a bidet seat for the toilet for my disabled Dad. Does anyone know if there's anywhere in Ireland that sells them and are they expensive?
    Thanks.
