the one that got me was the japan lapras event. i had purchased coins before then to buy incubators in the hope of hatching one. told myself after that id never do it again and i havnt. couldnt help but feel cheated that here i was spending actual money like a thick and out walking to hatch eggs to try get one all the while they were in abundance in japan. still yet to hatch one.....

For the first level ever I'm feeling the drag on a levelling up - done three lucky egg runs in the last two days and I'm up to 615k XP on level 34, then you realize that's not even half way to 1.25 million XP needed to reach level 35

I'll be lucky to reach level 30, it's not an easy game to level up when you live a town with one pokestop and no gym, just about to hit level 27 and i'm definitely feel like im hitting a wall.

Agh, in my opinion levelling up is unimportant, it has a few nice item bonuses and you can boost your gym Pokémon a little bit higher but that's about it. Hit level 33 on the day of the new event rollout and now I've 1million xp to gain to advance to the next level, 8% there now. While it's nice getting more xp from battling gyms and constantly evolving pidgeys lol, it's utterly inconsequential once you've reached those 30s.

Cork city infested with slowpokes, 1 porygon in 3 hours wandering around. At least a kabuto nest has come up in there (although not a massive spawn), got 2 ,now only short 8 candies to finish my dex.

Guys, a couple of nests I've come across as ive been in Dublin city centre unexpectedly for the second time this evening.

Scyther in mountjoy square.

Kabuto in pearse park, but only a mini nest based on the size of the park.

Ive also caught three grimer today and last Thursday in the genetal area of the bord gais theatre, but no one specific place.

I was walking kabuto and had 7 candy left, so finding the nest cut that short. I'm now on to my last gen 1 walkable which is machoke. I need about 25 candy for machamp. After him i only need hitmonchan to finish gen 1.

Abra from a 2km egg and all I get is 10 candies!!! (that's with event double candy).

I evolved my 5th Gyarados, and got Twister

Still haven't got one with Hydro Pump.

Sign of the times - held 9 gyms long enough to get the candy/stardust - surely a record for Instinct

had similar today with a few 2 km eggs i managed to hatch, 10 candies is miserable when its supposed to be double candy event, though most of the 5km eggs ive hatched have had 25+

I managed to pick up two 10k eggs today, so will defo have to hatch them before the event ends. Chan and smoochum please, although 60 lapras candy would also be great.

Have to say I'm liking this event waaaay more than the xmas/ny events....finally got a Lickitung!
Only come across a handful of Clefairy & most of them have fled, leaving me with woefully low cp one

Still no sign of Chansey, not even in the sightings....anyone know of any spawn points for the elusive b*stard in Dublin city centre?

Still not even a shadow of Lapras, or the Hitmons...think I've given up hope of ever seeing them in the wild now!

You'd be disappointed in Dublin, not a single sighting in Dublin 1 or 2, over a good number of hours, yet I've caught 4 at home. I don't know what biome Chansey spawns into, but the city centre is not it.

It's not even specifically for Chansey, it's more for stuff like the pokestops. It's hard to keep a decent level of items when you've only got 10 stops to work with :pac:

Walking Kabuto myself, finding a nest is a blessing right now with the double candies, I've gotten to that stage now where your thinking in km's and not the pokemon "thats another 40km walk I've saved myself"

Hatched 2 10km eggs this morning and got a lapras 1650cp and a Kabuto which now gives me enough to evolve him and knock another off the list..only 6 more to complete Gen 1. Was hoping for a dratini but I'll have to keep walking I suppose - only 74 km left ha

Getting sick of seeing Lickitung at this stage. Have already been ignoring Clefairy and Jigglypuff. Had 2 Chansey flee on me today, feckers. Still no sign of a Porygon. Evolved another Gyarados this morning with hydro pump, so that's two hydro pump, two twister now.

Wasn't going to bother walking anymore for this event, but I just picked up a 3rd 10k egg, never had so many at once before. So I have to at least walk these off, and hope they're not babies!
