    For a long time, I've avoided Valentine's night, at least as far as eating out is concerned. Worst night of the year if you like good service.

    By the way, for anyone planning celebrating at home, the M&S meal deal is very good this year.

    Ah jaysus. It's only a bit of craic :) I'm not a fan of circle jerk threads because they tend to focus on a small handful of people. But I find the Valentine threads that pop up around here are more inclusive. We can be silly and use the boards love generator thing and take the píss out of each other.

    There are plenty of abortion, Trump, feminism, Prison sentence, serious kind of threads. One which gives people a bit of a giggle and maybe even a wistful curiosity is a good thing I believe.

    It's pretty cringy reading flirting in the middle of other threads though, it's just inappropriate in a discussion forum for people to be getting too personal in public.

    Those are the things that catch my eye, both here and in RL. Wit and intelligence, not so much the crazy - but I'll take a bit of crazy provided it's fun crazy, not negative. :)
