Did anyone see this (apparently true) Style Guide for Presenters on Bauer Radio Stations that was widely discussed in the UK yesterday? (Bauer run a large number of stations across the UK).

I don't know anything about Radio Presenting but I was taken aback by the shackles being placed on Presenters in that guide. "Tease into every break", but every "tease" must be signed off by a "Content Controller"? Iain Lee tore into that document, link here https://radiotoday.co.uk/2017/02/iain-lee-dissects-new-bauer-radio-style-guide/

Who would want to work in a job like that, where your personality is shackled so tightly? It must be Soul destroying to have to comply with those diktats. Just wondering if people think much of Irish music radio is controlled as tightly, or if people think it is headed in that direction. Thanks.

Sounds like it could be a big improvement.
