Is this a good price for main dealer timing belt change?

I have a 2006 A4 1.9tdi which needs a timing belt change. Rang the main dealer today and they quoted €480 for belt and water pump. Now I normally never go to the main dealer and instead go to my own local indy.

THing is that the main dealer is only a 5 minute walk from work and I could drop it in, in the morning and collect it in the evening which would be very convenient. Whereas with the indy I would have to drop it, get picked up leave it there for a day (where I would be without a car and may need it) and get a spin to collect it. Would there be much of a saving afterwards. I'm beginning to think saving would have to be more than €100 for it to be worth it. Cant ask the indy how much it would cost as he is a family friend and it would be hard then not to give him the job.

So long story short- is that price from the main dealer anyway reasonable for the job?

That wouldn't be bad at all especially when its so convenient.

is just the timing belt and waterpump should be done when changing the timing belt?

Just to give you an idea of independent prices for the same job, our price is €360 using genuine Audi parts which I'd say is about average. So it's up to you if the convenience factor is worth €120.
