Why do you keep posting tests when you know its malfunctioning?

It may prove a good record if and when the need arises.

Don't have any problems streaming Netflix etc and use a scheduler overnight if needs be for any downloads. But yeah, need lots of patience for games. Like 4 days when I bought digital PS4 download of Modern Warfare. But unfortunately, just the way it is but I know nothing else at the moment :)

Having very poor download speeds in stepaside Dublin with sky. No more than 6mbs. Streaming is really poor. Is it pointless ringing SKY after they fobbed me off 6 months ago?

God help you. Sky tried everything to sort mine but never did. In the end they gave up and allowed me out of contract to go with another provider.

It's gonna take some time to get through to anyone at Sky, their call centers are very busy with customers dropping Sky over the Discovery/Eurosport issue.

You should change provider tho, Stepaside has the best fibre broadband in the country with Eir's FTTH widely available and Virgin Media.

This is a little unclear. I would guess you mean in AP mode or Wireless Bridging (probably the former).

so i plugged the airport extreane in to the router but the virgin router is still doing the routing so it's only
    bridge
    mode.

3rd option i put the virgin media router into modem only
and the airport device doing the routing

3rd is bridged, 2nd is not.

To be honest, I had someone set it up from Apple for me, so I could be just relaying information wrong. I know for sure as it stands the Airport is doing the routing. Also to add, much better experience with multiple devices running on the network at the same time.

in the end though, serious improvement in Wifi signal and response time.

Even though the pings are nearly identical, the Airport device is 100% offering me the pages faster than the virgin modem.

new speedtest.net website design and app design.

I am not sure this new redesign looks as good, foreign speedtests have to be typed in, no map anymore.
